Manual timer

With the Fitbit One you could long press the button to activate sleep/activity mode, which would immediately start a visible timer. I have different bedtimes every night, so knowing the duration of my sleep when I wake up is really important (if it’s not enough, I go back to sleep). It’s such a simple thing but none of the trackers support it except the old ONE

The One did that because it did not have automatic sleep recognition.  Newer Fitbits, like the Charge and Inspire have that, so, in theory, it should detect when you go to sleep ( and wake up).

Which is fine if it auto-detects, but sleep is just like a fitness activity for me. I want a live readout just like if I were on a run or something. I need to know my progress at a glance to know how much longer I need to go. I can’t wake up in the middle of the night and sync to my app to find out how much more sleep I need.
