Manually sync Inspire HR each day

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit has stopped syncing all days automatically. After I sync today’s data, manually, I have to go back to each day and sync those too, manually. Before it used to import all data since the last sync automatically when I opened the app but after some update it has stopped doing it. How do I get this back? I don’t sync very often so having to go back and manually do several days is very annoying.

I have to do exactly the same! So annoying.

I lost all the data from one full day because it has stopped syncing automatically

Hello @Nightsgrow and @AlessiaP88, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your posts. To further investigate this uncommon situation, can you please let me know which phone's are you using with your Inspire HR devices? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Seems odd that you have to sync your devices for each day because Fitbits store the information inside the device and it's necessary to sync the data just once to update your profiles.

In regards the All-day sync feature, to improve your experience with notifications, syncing, and firmware updates, we removed the option to turn off all-day sync from the Fitbit app. When your phone is near your Fitbit device with Bluetooth turned on, it periodically syncs with the Fitbit app to update your stats and download available firmware updates.

Looking forward to your replies, let me know if you have any additional questions.

I have had the same problem. My last syncing was on 1st Sept, I tried syncing On 14th and it would only sync that particular day. Same today, only synced today, and not even all of the data. Am I ever gonna sync properly and get my data back? The sync page still shows the last sync as 1st Sept.

My inspire never syncs automatically, and the only way we have found to make it sync at all is to turn off Bluetooth, turn off the computer, turn computer back on, begin installing the device as a new device, and then turn bluetooth back on.  I do get all the data from the past week when I do this. However, I don't use a smart phone for syncing, but only my laptop, so that may be the problem here.  If you have suggestions to streamline that process, please let me know
