Nap Logging

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Just had my FitBit for a week now. I noticed one day it logged my nap. This is great! Not as much information as night sleep but still I can see some data. BUT, it did NOT log my nap the next day or the day after that. I don't recall setting it up to log naps. Is there a way to do that? I take a 30-60 minute nap almost every day. Thanks for any help!

Fitbit will recognize sleep only of at least an hour, and it takes 3 hours to get sleep stages.  You probably just hit the one hour mark the day your nap was recorded.

There is a way, not officially recommended by Fitbit, I have found to get around the one hour limitation is to use the 'Begin Sleep Now' and 'I'm Awake buttons'.  On phone app, within sleep tile, tap the plus sign at top right, then 'Begin Sleep Now', and 'I'm Awake' when wake up, to at least get the nap counted as sleep, though not with sleep stages.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks for your response. I did take a nap today that was over an hour and it did not record it.  I only have a tablet, not a phone, so I doubt I could find the tweak to start and stop the recording. I'm still learning so perhaps more fiddling is in order!
