New Fitbit user help!

Hi, in new to all of this and hoping someone can help! I’ve always tracked my calorie intake on myfitnesspal and recently started running using the MapMyRun app. Both are connected so I track my runs then the calories automatically update on myfitnesspal. However I have just treated myself to a Fitbit as wanted to be more precise with the calorie burn and general fitness however I’m unsure how to use all 3 apps together.. I have linked them all but unsure how to track my runs? Still use MapMyRun? And also start the Fitbit at the same time? On a separate note, still a little unsure how to actually track runs on it.. do I start the tracker on the app or on the watch it’self?!

A little confused so if someone could help that would be amazing! Thank you! X

I would read the manual as well it can help a lot
