New Inspire HR - Mac sync issues and HR logging issues

Just had my Fitbit less than two weeks. These two additional issues on top of one posted yesterday.

my Fitbit will not sync with my iPad. Tried everything over last 24 hours via help / instructions. Frustrating keeps saying Bluetooth not set up (it is) and device not paired (it was paired when I bought the Fitbit). Even then it prompts me to set up and tap set up button and nothing happens in App.

i do a lot of bike riding and went for a long ride Friday - it captures some information of that journey but absolutely nothing in regard to heart rate. The whole point of this device is it’s ability to track heart rate and activity automatically without the need for a chest strap and personal prompting. But currently unreliable.

Love the concept but after two weeks starting to get frustrated so any help would be greatly appreciated.

@chrismcgolpin It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not syncing with your Mac and iPad nor reading your heart rate and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Not sure with troubleshoots you have tried but I suggest you try the following:

1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
2. Restart your phone and restart your device. 
3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.

Regarding the heart rate reading I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
