No Auto-Recognize Activity - No Exercise Recorded

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I got my Fitbit one week ago today. Thursday and Saturday, it auto recognized swimming and was fairly accurate with length count.  Sunday I walked over 9K steps and got no Exercise. Today I swam, nothing.

Looks like I have the 1.63.5 update. 😕

Hi @SewRuth  Usually a restart or two will fix this problem. Give it a try and see how it goes next time you exercise. Please come back if you co tinue to have problems.

I restarted it twice. It is now capturing swimming, counting lengths fairly accurately, and Reporting it as exercise.  It fails to capture walking as Exercise, altough it shows this morning's  3.7 miles, 57 minutes, on the dashboard. Frustrating.

Hmmm That does sound strange. Do you swing your arms freely as you walk? Or do you use walkinh poles or carry something? Just trying to work out if something you might be doing is throwing the tracker off

No poles, just arms swinging clearly. I may try resetting, but I don't want to mess up the swim function.

Restarting several times shouldn't mess up the swim recognition (but I understand your reluctance)

I restarted it again, and it captured this morning's walk.
