No vibration

So my Inspire HR is paired, syncing, alerts are set, notifications are allowed...and yet I do not get any vibration alert when I receive a text, incoming call, pre-set alarm reaches that time etc etc...any ideas?

Thanks for confirming that your Fitbit is not working properly to show notifications of any type. This is very odd, since it looks like your Fitbit is having some hardware issues. Please confirm if you have already restarted your Fitbit. You will find the steps below: 

 

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the tracker until it attaches magnetically. The pins on the charging cable must connect securely with the port.
  3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds. 
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

If that doesn't solve it, we might have to check with our support team. Please give it a try and keep me posted on the resolution.

Hi there and thanks for reaching out to me....I did in fact try all those
things you mentioned, and in fact got the smiley face several times on
restarts, however never a vibration. Spoke with customer support and they
could tell that I had been restarting etc...and decided there must be an
issue with mine. So they are sending me a new one since I literally just
took this one out of the box two days ago.
Very nice of Fitbit to do this...now I am waiting for the new one to arrive.
