Not receiving notifications on device

Reposting because I accidentally replied to my original question and that may have deterred help from coming.

I have not been receiving notifications from apps or my messages on my Inspire HR. Calls go through normally but no app or messaging platform notifications show up at all. It says my notification service is not working in the settings and I have tried many ways to fix it. I have restarted my phone multiple times, my Inspire HR multiple times, unpaired and repaired both the phone and the Fitbit, and resynced it multiple times, all to no avail.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit app, now my notification settings have been fixed. I now get notifications on my Inspire HR again.

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured and to try some troubleshooting steps.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro and the first time I experienced issues with notifications on my Inspire HR was about a month ago when I used the Do Not Disturb function on my phone for a test. Afterwards, I turned off Do Not Disturb and my Fitbit no longer received notifications from messaging services or messaging apps. The Fitbit App told me that my notification service was not running and a phone restart was needed to get the service running again, but calls still showed up on my Inspire HR. I will try some of these troubleshooting tips again and see if it works.

I've only had notifications for maybe 2 days then nothing. Getting sick of that, then the touch screen going black while trying to use the watch so having to start again. I'd rather of had another charge 2 than this thing.

Hey @RicardoFitbit, I used the help guide you linked and followed all those steps for setting up notifications on my Inspire HR, but notifications still are not showing up on the Fitbit. Calls still go through normally on the Fitbit but messaging platforms and other applications still are not appearing or vibrating.

Thanks, they have magically started working this morning without changing a thing! 

Off topic slightly but I've been bought a charge 4 for my big birthday and in 2 minds to keep it or return it. Which is better (or less problematic), the charge 4 or versa 2? The touch screen is so annoying on the inspire HR as in when I'm scrolling that it just goes black and I have to start again or have you done some kind of reboot on it?

Never worked since the 26th again and almost sure I got a notification for something I couldn't find an email for! Is this linked to someone else's email address?

Do I need to go to somewhere to fix my Fitbit? I would like to know what to do about my notifications not working.

Hi there I had a web chat with one of the guys from Fitbit and basically if you disconnect your Fitbit from Bluetooth then go back to your Fitbit app and connect to Bluetooth through your app it should then work 🤞

I have a samsung galaxy so. I just got the Fitbit Inspire today and set it up. None of my notifications or calls are going to my inspire. I have already done a sync now and restarted my phone with no luck.
