The notifications service on my fitbit has never worked, right from day one. I use an android (OnePlus 5), and have tried all the solutions I have found on the forum so far. In the fitbit app, I always see a message, "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notification on your tracker".  However, restarting has not helped either and none of the notifications work and they never have either.

Hope to find a solution.

 

I have all the newest firmware. On my phone as well as on the fitbit (1.63.5)

My device sends no notifications and does nothing.  Luckily, I didn't buy it.  Mine will go in the bin.
