Phone Compatibility

I currently have a Huawei P Smart phone which after buying a Fitbit Inspire 2 have just found out that (after many frustrating weeks) it isn't compatible with it, I need a new phone anyway so have decided to look for one but obviously want to make sure it is compatible first - I've looked at the Samsung S20 FE but also heard through the Fitbit community that it isn't compatible!! The list for compatible devices also looks to be a decade out of date and isn't useful - it may say most of the popular phones etc. are compatible but from the sounds of it that isn't the case, anyway please can someone tell me what phone they use that is compatible with the Fitbit app and Fitbit inspire 2 before I pull my hair out!

Hi @Jess_Cawth currently it's Android 10 or higher to successfully use the app. click for more info.

Hi @Odyssey13 thank you but the Samsung S20 FE is currently at Android 11 I believe and I've still heard that it isn't compatible with Fitbit 😕

@Jess_Cawth  phones can be tricky. Sometimes a person is able to get their phone to work, although it's not on the list of compatible phones. That might be why the list is older and not updated to current phones. Is there a way you can try out the phone and return it if it doesn't work with the Fitbit app?
