Hi,
Having the Swimming App available on the Inspire HR was my main reason for replacing my Inspire Flex 2 with it. However, once in the pool with wet hands and a wet Inspire HR it is almost impossible to start or stop the app. I lose a lot of time (OK, seconds!) to get the HR to respond, Seeing progress is easier since I can press the button on the side of the device.
Any suggestions on how to overcome this (other than climbing out of the pool and drying my hands - which makes my average lap time incorrect).

Nice to see you around @SunsetRunner. I'll be glad to give you a hand with your inquiry. Thank you for the steps that you've tried before contacting us.
I really appreciate the feedback about the swimming option. At this moment there is no other option to track swimming. You can either track it with that option or manually log the activity at the end from the Fitbit app. Most of users check swimming stats until they finish the activity. Sorry we don't have any other option for you.
If you have suggestions for this feature, you can always add here. Members of the Community can post new ideas in this board so they can be implemented in a future updates, this is a great way to make your voice heard.

Hi, Thanks for the response. My issue isn't to do with monitoring my swim while swimming, it's more to do with being unable to start the swimming app with wet hands (since I shower before I enter the pool). I guess it's no big deal (but it would be nice) since, as you say, the auto detect works - I just have to be patient, I guess
