Hello.
During the last few months I’ve noticed that when I start tracking a walking exercise via my iPhone App using GPS, the tracked distance is wrong, cause it’s tracking a longer distance than actually walked. Then a few weeks ago I started tracking walking exercises directly via the watch (without GPS) AND the iPhone App (with GPS) to compare - and via the watch the distance is far shorter, actually too short than the actual distance walked.. The last walk I tracked was two days ago with a difference in distance of 3,2 km.
Has anybody else experienced the same problem? And how can it be solved (hopefully)?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I'm having the same problem. Been walking, it was doing fine. Then last Friday, it tracked the distance at 4 miles in an hour, which is not possible for me. Then I restarted it & updated it! Yesterday & today it shows I did 6 miles & way too many steps in an hour! Again not possible! I have had 3 or 4 different FitBit Trackers but I like the size of the Inspire HR. Don't know whether to try a different FitBit or go with Apple Watch. I like the sleep tracker on the Inspire HR. And my daughters say the Apple Watch is not as good at tracking sleep. Is this just problem with the Inspire HR or is this problem with FitBit watches in general? Don't know what to do???
Thanks!

Thank you for your reply!
I actually haven’t tried to restart my watch, but it sounds like it didn’t help you anyway. Maybe I should try though..
I also tried to change my stride length, but it seems like that hasn’t changed it to be better.
I am not really considering changing my Fitbit, cause I’m very happy about it otherwise! I really hope this problem can be solved somehow

Hi,I’m having the same problem! I’ve been running the same route which is 6.8km,but the last few weeks when I do the exact same route it’s clocking at 4.2km! My HR is definitely set in km! Very annoying
