Hi @CatbirdGirl welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing your inquiry.
Please check that "All day sync" is "turn on" on the Fitbit app. Please confirm what model of phone you're using to connect with Fitbit. I'll be glad to check this information with you.
I'll be waiting for your response.

I used to be able to use the fitbit app to view my heart rate while I was exercising and also whether I was in fat burning or cardio. Ever since the app has been update I can see my resting heart rate on the app but not my heart rate at any particular time. I can see it on my actual watch, but I liked to put my phone on the treadmill and be able to monitor my heart rate as I was exercising.

I'm not sure where to check that all day sync is on in the FitBit App. I am using an Iphone 10.
Thank you.

I figured it out! I realized that if I just look at the heart in the app it tells me real time heart rate and zone.
Thanks for replying before!
