Regularly losing connectivity

Is anyone else having this issue: 

You open up your fitbit app to check your sleep or log an activity/water -whatever only to find out that a) it won’t sync and b) it stopped communicating some time ago (a couple of hours to half a day or more depending on last time you checked basically)? 

Although the fitbit itself seems to be working it hasn’t sent any info to the app or backed it up so when you finally reconnect (it usually involves removing the device and reconnecting from scratch) you’re basically left with a gap in data - a whole 12 hours for me today (a night’s sleep and morning). This happens regularly, once a week at the moment, but averaging every other week. Is this normal behaviour? It’s extremely infuriating. Could happen at night or during the day.

@elt4 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for sharing all of those details regarding Inspire HR not syncing. You have done an excellent job performing the steps that you've mentioned in your post. Great job!

 

In this case, it is possible that a firmware update is available and that would be the reason why it is not syncing properly. If you are having troubles to update, please try these steps in order to sort that out.

 

Once updates, it should sync properly again. However, if it doesn't please follow these syncing troubleshooting steps to sort that out. What model of iPhone are you using?
