Had a replacement inspire hr sent to replace another with screen that wouldn’t show  the display. Got the replacement unit and it has the exact same problem right out of the box.

This happened to me as well. I got a replacement for my current Inspire HR because the battery on mine is draining in less than 12 hours. Replacement screen doesn't work, even though I charged it for quite a while. And when I called to replace my replacement, I have to send it back (at least they gave me a prepaid label), wait for them to accept it and return it (5-10 days), and then see what options they offer me. Since it already took 5 days to get the first replacement, I'll be without a functional Fitbit for close to a month IF a second replacement actually works. Very disappointing.

Yeah, they told me that also so I complained and they are sending both at the same time.  Kinda stupid that they want you to send it in before sending a replacement.  They didn't ask to send in the original one. They need to work on their customer service.  I wonder if they are sending out refurbished units for replacements.  I also wonder what the warranty is on a replacement unit.  The original unit had 2 months left on the 1 year warranty.  The replacement I received came in a bubble wrap mailer and in plastic bag.  No warranty information or instructions. I think for the trouble of getting a DOA unit for a replacement they should build some trust and offer me a 2 year warranty.  The screen going out is a very common problem as reported on this forum.  I think they have design flaw and won't admit it or are just taking their chances on returns as most companies do with electronics.  Receiving a dead unit for a replacement must mean they are not testing units or they need to package them better so they don't get damaged in shipping.

I just received my replacement for screen issues. It's been plugged in all day, nothing. I can hold the button for 15 sec and get the smiley face, but that's it, no vibration and no screen reaction.  I'm going to let it hang out on the charger all night but I'm pretty annoyed. It's to the point I think I'm going to switch to Garmin or I might suck it up and get an Apple Watch.

It's dead.  After you get the smiley face you should get a screen.  You should also feel a vibration when you put it on the charger.
