Searching for groups?

I've just received my fitbit for Christmas and have been having a great time with it! However, when I tried to go into the groups page there isn't really a search option. I don't really fit under a lot of the recommended groups, and I'm sure that if anyone creates a group like it says they can, there's no way to find it. Is there any way to navigate around it better?

I've tried looking into it myself and have found a search engine posted by a couple users in the forums, but the problem is those links don't lead much of anywhere. When the groups are clicked, all it gives is a response of "we have removed web-based activity groups from our website-- Fitbit mobile app provides users with a significantly better experience"

Any help is appreciated!
