I purchased the Fitbit inspire for my 11yr grandson.  How can I set up an account for him?  I tried a family account but the model they show is the ace.

Sorry, but under age 13 can only be as a child in family account, and family accounts support only Ace or Ace 2.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

What 13 yr old wants to wear the Ace? It shouldn’t matter what device you
purchase for a minor.
