Setting up Fitbit Inspire HR

I just got the Fitbit yesterday and downloaded the app, charged the Fitbit, and created an account. When trying to pair the Fitbit and the account the app cannot find the Fitbit. The Fitbit is 100% charged, there are no other Fitbit devices nearby and my phone's (Samsung Galaxy S10) Bluetooth is on. The Fitbit screen continuously has the Fitbit logo and the setup website address scrolling across... is the Fitbit on? I tried pressing and holding the side button on the Fitbit and nothing changes. How do I get the devices connected????

@SunsetRunnerIt's good that the community is growing! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you setting up your Inspire HR with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
