Sleep mode not working

After working successfully for 4 days my sleep mode stopped displaying results. I imagine that I have inadvertently changed my wrist settings. Not only am I struggling to get the wrist tracker to switch on I'm struggling to read (  letters too small ) and understand the sleep mode instructions. Would someone please explain it in simple terms.

Hi @justinefay  which Fitbit do you have? You need a bit more help than sleeping well forum area might offer.

I found that the sleep mode was working but the icon was switched off so I
couldn't see the data.

I went to Fitbit Today, Edit and scrolled right down to the bottom , beyond
the open icons. There I found the sleep icon was showing but not switched
on. So I clicked on it and it worked.
