Sleep shows on app but not Inspire 2

When is Fitbit going to do a new update to fix sleep data not showing on Inspire 2, it has been some time since working. I had a InspireHR it wasn’t working so I bought a new inspire2 and wonder of wonders it doesn’t show on that also.

Hi, I'm having the exact same trouble as you are. I got my inspire about a week ago and I've tried everything I can think of. It's driving me nuts! I have done the customer support chat and I am waiting on an email too. 🤞

@Susanhigh Hi there. I'll be happy to clarify your inquiry. 

It's great to hear that you're now seeing sleep score on your Inspire 2. The sleep score showing on the Fitbit app is available only on the Fitbit app, this is why you're not seeing it on the website.

Thanks for the reply about the sleep score not showing on the website.  

 

I now have another question.  I've only had the Inspire 2 for a week or so, and it has been tracking sleep where my Alta had failed.  I typically get up and move to another location in the middle of the night due to a rotator cuff issue.  It has been successfully tracking all my sleep except for last night.  I went to bed at about 10:30, changed locations at 2am, then up again at 7:30.  The Inspire 2 only captured the time between 2am and 7:30am.  I have it set on sensitive.  I found where I can edit the log to pass the real data to my work fitness plan Virgin Pulse, but would rather have it tracked correctly.  Please advise.

Hi Silvia, I've got the same problem as @JillianG@Fit_Aussie  & others... The sleep data & score shows up in the app, but not on the inspire 2 tracker itself. This hasn't worked since I bought it last week.

 

I've already tried all the reset\reboot\Bluetooth off at night etc options, but nothing has changed. My tracker is charged, positioned correctly etc. 

 

As this problem has apparently been around for a while, is there possibly a solution not mentioned in this thread that has been found to work?

I'm Grace, I just got my Inspire 2 two nights ago. I'm here with the same issue, my sleep score shows on the app but there's no sleep data or score on my tracker. I've tried restarting the device, rebooting it, turn Bluetooth on and off and reinstalling fitbit app too. Checked the whole non dominant on-wrist thing and wore it higher up my arm as well. Didn't manually log in sleep on the app either, I did that the first night and realised that won't get me sleep score. What else should I do to fix this? Please and thanks.

Good morning,
I know this issue isn’t about Sleep data etc
When an update is available on Apple Store Fitbit isn’t listed where normally it use to be.
On Apple store I need to go to my profile picture on top right, go to purchases then type Fitbit in at the top where you search for items and when I type Fitbit it comes up and I can see if an update is available and manually update it.

Hi, 
I can see that my Inspire 2 is tracking my sleep because it is syncing to the app, displaying the data and a sleep score. My problem is the tracking says no data, no score. How do I get the tracker to display this information?

Please note: It is on wrist mode, I have synced, I have rebooted, it is showing in the app, I have read the manual and been through the forums.
Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated. 🙂

Hi Kate,

I purchased a Fitbit Inspire 2 on 28 Nov 2020 and am also experiencing the issue with sleep data and score not showing on the device although it appears in my app.

I have tried resetting the device both by using reboot device under settings on the device and by attaching to the charging cord and holding the button for 5 seconds. 

I have done this over the last two days so far and no change. Still not getting sleep data on the device.

Look forward to a resolution.

I just got my Inspire2 about 4 days ago. I'm having the same issue. It's basically a watch that captures info and syncs to the app. Not impressed. I might go back to using my Blaze.😢

 

This does not help. There should be a bug logged for this that needs to be prioritized and a hot fix update provided!

Why is this marked as answered as everyone is unhappy that the issue hasn't been resolved satisfactorily? The steps suggested don't help.

Unfortunately "answered" is not the same as "resolved"... Looks like a major upgrade is required with the inspire 2.

I purchased my Inspire2 only 1 day ago and same issue. I’ve done a reset, recharge, turned phone on and off. Data is in the app but not the device itself and screen shows same as yours.

I’ve had my inspire since 11/19. It has not worked properly since I turned it on. I specifically purchased this for the sleep monitor. I’ve restarted and synced multiple times. I’ve updated the app to the latest update. 
Sometimes the sleep tracking works and and sometimes it doesn’t but it never displays on the device, only the app.
