Split Sleep Tracking Not Functional

I slept from 11:30 a.m. to 2:45 a.m.

I slept again from 3 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

My friend showed me a screenshot of his Fitbit alta where the sensor is supposed to split it in two. When I synched inspire HR this morning it did not. It only logged the sleep session from 11:30 a.m. to 2:45 a.m. I had to manually edit in the other half, which doesn't give accurate results.

I did the sync after I woke up and waited for the sync to catch up and collect all the data before trying to manually edit it.

Was the sync you did right after you woke up?  Sometimes it takes a while to get the sleep data together and analyzed.  It could make sense that it had already dealt with the 11:30 - 2:45 sleep but hadn't analyzed the rest of the night yet when you manually edited it.  Be patient and give it a little time to catch up before changing the data.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
