I am about ready to heave this thing against the wall.
1. Does not show up in Available Devices on either Samsung Galaxy Tab A or Samsung Galaxy S2 tablets or on iphone 5SE. It did show once on an old Chinese tablet I have but now no longer shows even there.
2 I charged the tracker but the only thing it will show when I turn it on is the Fitbit logo and a scrolling web address for setup. I can't figure out how to make it get past that. I think that maybe this is why it won't show up in the available devices (because the tracker is not properly on). I've tried holding the button on the side in for a few seconds - nothing. I've tried tapping the screen - nothing (is this thing even touch screen? I can't find anywhere on the d...m website that tells me that.)
3 https://fitbit.com/setup is broken (404)
4. The app on the S2 seems to think that there is no internet connection even though there is and all other wifi apps work ok. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app but still won't recognise that there is a wifi connection. Of course, who cares if the app works if nothing pairs up on Bluetooth?
5 That is just the start of the problems I'm having but if I could get these things paired up and figure out how to move on from the logo screen on the bracelet, I would be happy. I would even give up keeping stats but they have to be paired if I want the proper time to be shown on the bracelet.

OK - I found out that it IS a touch screen. Doesn't help much though when you can't get anything on the screen except the Fitbit logo and a scrolling web address.
