Inspire HR did not register anything after a half hour stationary bike session. What can I do?
Wear on ankle during session?
Swing arms during session?
Enter manually (which don't know how todo or what I would enter)?
Thank you.
Best AnswerHi @markgrant Fitbits cant automatically recognise stationary bike, so usingnauto detect wont work. Youbhave the Inspire HR so that has exercise shortcuts you can use. Make sure the exercise shortcut for spinning is on you tracker (you can do this in the app) and then manually start the Spinning exercise shortcut when you start and remember to stop it when you finish. Once you get your head around remembering to do it each time (it didnt take me long to remember) it is quick and easy to do and the time etc is accurate.
As you suggest you can manually enter in the App afterwards, but there is a good reason not to do it this way. When you manually enter the app will no longer use your data to calculate calories burnt and active minutes, but you will get averages from the general population instead.
Please come back if you have more questions, or need help getting the Spinning shorcut onto your Inspire HR

Today I put the Inspire HR around my ankle and did 30 minutes on a stationary bike. (Did not use any exercise shortcuts, just normal Fitbit settings.) It seems to register one step per one full rotation of the pedals. Will try a few more days then update if this is indeed what is happening.
Best AnswerGo into the exercise shortcuts menu. It can only show 6 at a time. You can't see any other options until you delete one. Once there is an open slot, you will see other types of exercise to add. Spinning is one of them, but it does not count steps, just the exercise time, heart rate, etc.
