Step count

Read through the entire forum about this issue, tried all the troubleshooting, and this device is horribly inaccurate on step count. Might as well not even bother trying. Other features work ok so far, but I've only had mine two days, and with this bad of a problem with a main feature, I'm not counting on this device to work properly long term.

See How accurate are Fitbit devices?

Nothing worn on your wrist can really know exactly what your legs are doing.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I’m also quite shocked at how inaccurate the Inspire is. Bought mine last Sunday so just getting used to it and not yet wearing it sleeping; when I put it on in the morning, I’ve twice now discovered ~500 steps on it already. I take a motorbike to work and gain another 1000 from that. Another lump coming home. There’s the regular inaccuracy with these devices, granted, to cope with too but the weird surges in step counts is very odd. Ultimately means I can’t trust it at all though. Bit of a disaster so far really.
