Steps being tracked on a bus

Is it possible that my steps are being picked up while I'm riding a bus?

I got my 10,000 steps congratulations while I was riding on a bus during a 20 minute ride. I wasn't walking at all.

Or is there a delay in the uploading of "step" info & just coincidence that I received the congrats on the bus

Hi @Katnail No, there should not be any delay in counting. It was probably the bumps and lurches in the bus ride that did it. You can get rid of the unwalked steps by logging a driving activity for the time you were on the bus if you want to.

DRIVING ACTIVITY
To log a driving activity go to your app, tap the exercise tile (running man), then the stopwatch icon in the top right corner. On the screen that comes up start to type in Driving and when the list drops down SELECT DRIVING from the list (very importand not to type in the whole word). Fill in the details and Log it.
