Early in the day the steps on the app agree with the Inspire 2. At some point they start to differ. Then whenever I sync, the app adds 316 to the step count.
I have rebooted the Inspire 2, restarted the app and restarted the iPhone 14.
Everything worked fine for years until a couple of days ago
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Hi @Geezerhiker. Welcome to the community forums.
Thank you for taking the time to share the inquiry regarding your Inspire 2 and for the attempts that you tried in order to fix it.
Confirm if you are using Mobile track. It is a service that allows you to count steps using your phone even if you forget to wear your Fitbit. You can "unpair" Mobile Track from your account. On your Fitbit app go to the upper left corner, on the phone and device icon. Click on your phone icon and on the 3 dots and choose "unpair".

Yes, that seems to be it. I wasn't aware of that feature, so I guess it was defaulted in or I turned it on by mistake.
Too bad - It would be a great feature if it worked.
