The Stopwatch keeps randomly stopping while swimming. I can't keep track of my exercise time without constant checking to restart. Very annoying. That plus the heart rate tracking not working correctly makes this device pretty useless. Should have stayed with my waterfied charge HR (original)

Thanks for getting back to us @curtdo. I'll be glad to assist you with your stopwatch stopping while swimming inquiry.
Does this happen only when you swim? If your exercise is very hard, the contact with the water may cause the stopwatch stop.
You have already received the heart rate not working explanation on a different post. I really appreciate your feedback.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.

It seems you are saying this is a user problem caused by swimming "very hard".
Come on.... this is a design flaw. If the watch is designed for swimming it should work.
BTW, I do not swim hard, but somewhat slowly.

I have the same issue. touch screen is fine in other modes as far as I know, but stopwatch is useless for swimming.

Yes, and unfortunately the stop watch mode is the only one I can get a HR graph from when swimming.... even if inaccurate.

it is somewhat strange - i found exercise - swim mode has fairly stable and reliable touchscreen start/stop, so it is just the stopwatch mode problem. though exercise-swim's automatic length-tripcount detection sometimes misses the turns, not many but one or two less than the actual trips.
