Supervised Google account & Fitbit

My 13 year old has an inspire 2 & currently has her Google account supervised by Family Link. I understand there have been issues with supervised accounts not working - has this been resolved? 

We do not want to remove supervision from her account just so she can use her Fitbit

@Kate711   It is my understanding that you can remove your child from Google Family link, set up the Fitbit, then add her back.
