Sync after accidental data delete

I accidentally deleted user data (clear user data)

Now it won't sync. I tried resetting it by plugging it in and holding the button until the smiley face comes up, but it still won't connect.

What do I do????

I think you may need to go through the setup process again to re-establish the link to your fitbit.

Go into the account section of the app and select "set up a device"

I did the same thing, did you figure out how to fix it

Best Answer
Yes. I figured it out.
You have to unpair it from your phone. Then start the process over again. I
restarted both my phone and Fitbit a million times. But after you unpair
it, it will give you another 4 digit code.

Hope this helps.
Thanks everyone.

How do you unpaired them?

That option doesn't exist.

Hi, @kkkkkt , the unpair part refers to going to your phone’s Bluetooth settings (not the Fitbit app) and delete/ remove/ forget the device.  Until you do that it won’t allow you to set it up again.

I hope this helps.  Welcome to the forums!

TY!! This was exactly my problem. Even tech support couldn't help me figure this out. Truly very grateful.
