Syncing difficulties with Inspire HR

My Fitbit starting last night and as of the afternoon today will not sync with the app.  In my app it states I have version 200001.63.12. In the app it also states I have an update available, if I select the update it states I have the current version.

I don’t know what is going on but I’ve spend a good part of my day restarting my Fitbit to no avail, I’ve removed the Fitbit device in my Bluetooth and then restarted my Fitbit, gone into the app I get a notification my Fitbit wants to pair with my IPhone, I do that and it still won’t sync.  In my settings under Bluetooth it states my Inspire HR is connected.  I’ve also tried removing the app and then download it again.
My Fitbit is tracking my steps, heart rate, my resting heart rate, calories burned, active minutes, miles and how many days out of 5 I’ve exercised, it did not record my sleep last night, it’s charged at 89%, the app is useless right now.

Additionally the watch part is not keeping up, its running 7 minutes behind the actual time, it was 5 minutes behind, now it’s running even more behind.

If this issue has to do with the new update, y’all need to do a better job!  According to the release information in the forum its being released slowly, seems like you would have known long ago there’s multiple issues.

I’ve been a Fitbit user for 5 1/2 years now and I’m shocked and surprised I’ve never seen such a mess.

If this mess doesn’t have to do with the new update I’d appreciate an answer from Fitbit regarding what it is.

Interesting, voila at 8:50pm (8 minutes ago) my app started working and my device synced.  Time is correct on my Fitbit now and the app is working and showing my stats for the day.

Hello @SunsetRunner, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!

Thanks for your post, the feedback that was shared on it and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. Let me share with you that the time on your Inspire HR is wrong because your Fitbit displays the time that's configured on your phone with the syncing process, therefore, to fix this inconvenience, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

Yeah none of your suggestions worked, and the steps it mentioned where you directed me to I’ve done repeatedly today.  I did much research and did all suggestions as I stated in my original post.

Additionally, up until last night my Fitbit and Fitbit app have worked with my iPhone and has been working with my iPhone all along.

I’ve been using Fitbit products for 5 1/2 years, I do know how to manually sync, all I get is Sync Failed, I’ve never, never experienced total failure of the app in all those years. I’m guessing it’s an issue in the app since my Fitbit is showing me when I scroll my steps, heart rate, resting heart rate and so on as I listed in my original post, the only thing it’s not showing me when I scroll on my Fitbit is my sleep, that is grayed out on my Fitbit device.

The last sync was yesterday at 2:02 in the afternoon.  This is not unusual for my Fitbit Inspire, but this is really frustrating.  I hit "sync" a hundred times.  Nothing.  I log off then log on to fitbit, power up power down, on my phone, on my laptop.  I double and triple check my wifi connection - even try at home and at work.  My old Alta never seemed to have this issue.  The Inspire, which I have had since last fall has it several times a day.  Sigh.
