It says that it is compatible to receive text and call notifications but I am not receiving any on my inspire. I've done all the troubleshooting and checked all the boxes on my phone and app. Still nothing.

Hello thank you for your response. I ended up going to my profile pic and under the tab Devices selected the image of my device which took me to General Notifications options and there I selected which Notifications I want to receive. That solved my issue.

Welcome to the Community Forums @Beautisoul. Nice to see you here @ShaneP12. Thanks a million for the troubleshooting steps that you've tried to fix the notification issues with your Inspire.

Both of your Android devices are in the list of compatible devices, so please confirm the following information on your phone:

  • Do Not Disturb—This feature prevents your phone from sending notifications. Verify that Do Not Disturb is off. Find this setting under Sound and notification.
  • Notifications—To see notifications from your phone on your Fitbit device, your phone must receive phone, text, calendar, and app notifications. Check these settings:
    • Make sure your phone receives notifications while locked. Find this setting under Sound and notification.
    • If your Fitbit device can receive app notifications, make sure you receive app notifications on your phone. For example, to receive Facebook notifications on your Fitbit device you first must receive them on your phone. Find the notifications permissions under Sound and notification.
    • Make sure the Fitbit app can run in the background on your phone. For more information, see Why is the Fitbit app sending a notification to my Android phone?
    • Make sure you installed the latest version of iOS. Tap Settings > General > Software update to see if an update is available.
    • Update the Fitbit app.
    • Make sure Show Previews is set to Always or When Unlocked.
    • Allow Notifications—On
    • Alerts > Notification Center—On
    • Go to Notifications and make sure Enable Notification Widget is on.

Then perform the recommended troubleshooting steps:

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone.
  2. Wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  3. Open the Fitbit app to sync your Fitbit device.

Notifications should work as expected after your device syncs. If they don't, continue with the next task:

  1. Restart your device. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Open the Fitbit app to sync your Fitbit device.

If this isn't solving the issues with notifications, continue with the next steps:

  1. Tap the Today tab

, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Turn off all notifications
  4. Restart your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and turn notifications back on.

As final step you can try the following:

  1. Tell your phone to "forget" your device, removing the connection between the phone and the Fitbit device.

    1. On your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and find your Fitbit device in the list.
    2. Find an option to forget the device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and set up notifications again.

Please give it a try and keep me posted on the resolution.
