Hi, @gallardo.rangel , no Fitbit - or any similar device - is actually water proof and the federal regulators do not allow them to say so. Instead they are listed as water resistant.
Water resistant may decline due to age or other factors, including exposure to soaps, sun lotions, skin cream or other external factors. Also some water sports, even though they do not involve submersion over 50 feet, may involve forces equivalent to much more pressure (like surfing or scuba diving) which could exert more significant pressure.
If you feel you may have a warranty claim, the online Community here can’t really help you and it is best to get in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on Contact.Fitbit.com . They will look into the matter and help you further and let you know your options.
