Is there a way to show the distance of sports exercises when GPS is not connected? For instance I regularly play soccer and basketball and I'd like to see my progress from one training to another(duration is mostly the same) and at the moment I can only see the number of steps during the exercise. If I want to know the distance I have to look at the distance covered before and after the exercise. Connecting the GPS doesn't quite work as expected because I cannot play with the phone by my side so I've noticed miscalculations.

Hello @Yuri89 and a warm welcome. I don't have my Inspire HR on my account right now. I have my Versa 2. But I'm pretty sure that you can do this on your Inspire HR. I can turn my GPS off for a specific exercise. But when I read the Inspire HR manual , it looks like you turn your GPS on/off in the settings on the device -- swipe down on the face until you get to the gear. If I walk or run with the GPS off, I get a steps x stride length distance for that walk/run. I do this for real because one route takes me through a tunnel where GPS is useless.
Then you have to decide whether to use Walk or Run -- your stride length is different. Definitely Run for soccer. Basketball is iffy, there is a big mix of run steps and walk steps.
I hope this works for you.

Thanks a lot @LZeeW! Definitely going to try that out. It won't say soccer but at least I'll have a view of the distances of my workouts
