Mine neither, and the icon is greyed out. Even after synching no sleep record.

How long have you both been wearing your Fitbit to bed for? It takes a couple of days (or at least it did for me) for everything to show up on the app. Also, check your time zone in the app in case it's showing a different country. Have a look in the settings on your app and see if there's a way you can adjust the time it takes before it logs your sleep.
Sometimes Fitbit devices seem to get grumpy and refuse to log anything for a while, especially if it's new to you... the first week or so after wearing it is very frustrating 'cos sometimes it logs things and the next day the information disappears then the next day it reappears again (or, again, it did for me). Give it a week of wearing it 24/7 and hopefully by then it'll be used to what is normal for you and decide to start working properly for you both.
If your Inspires aren't new to you both, have you just installed the Firmware thingy? My Inspire threw a strop and refused to log anything for 3 days after installing it, so could that be what's happening for you too?

@Njfs - what's the battery like on it? Have you charged it up since you started wearing it again? How about trying to restart it on the device (press and hold the button for 7 seconds until after it vibrates)? On the device, is it set to "on clip" or "on wrist"? Maybe try changing it to the other one to see if that kicks it into action?
It can take a while for the Fitbit to work out what is normal for you - especially if you've recently installed the Firmware update on it! 🙂
