I have to remove my Fitbit every night in order to get any sleep. Every time I move my arm the clock lights up so bright it wakes me up. In addition, why is the part of the watch that touches my skin flashing green? Green light suppresses melatonin production, so all night long this green light is flashing against my skin. You'd think that the people who make fitbit would know this and use a red light instead. The article below is just one of many that talks about green lights and melatonin.

Hi @LDBH. That article concerns light that reaches the eye. The green light is detecting your heart rate. When the watch is against your wrist, the light is hidden. You can turn the heart rate feature off at night, if you want. But your sleep data is much more accurate when it can take HR into account.
As for the light going off at night, you can press and hold the button to access Quick Settings. From there, you can turn off Notifications and the Quick View feature, which activates the clock face at a flick of the wrist. In the morning, you can reactivate that feature.
