Hi,
I am unable to hard reset on the model I have. Dont remember which one it is but in Device Info it said FB412 which appears to be Inspire HR when searched.
When going to Settings there is no option to select clear user data, it just shows the text and disclamers about the fitbit but absolutely no options to clear data. Is there a way to hard/factory reset. Got this for my son few years back never used it but now my daughter wants to use so trying to make it sync as time is incorrect and not synching to any phone I tried.
Thanks.

@mstrack , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and efforts.
Just to confirm your Fitbit does have a heart rate sensor? Or do green LEDs blink when charged and been worn?
If not then you have an Inspire and not the Inspire HR.
Normally the Fitbit should delete the info in it when you set it up with another account.
Looking at the description you gave, it seems that you have an older Firmware installed on the Inspire model.
In that case, restart the tracker.
After the restart, make sure that you have the latest Fitbit App installed.
Try to set up the tracker with your account.

@mstrack you can find instructions for erasing the Inspire HR here.
One thing to understand is that the Inspire HR is a legacy device. It was discontinued in 2020 and is no longer supported by Fitbit/Google. It may no longer work as it used to. It's also possible that the battery will no longer hold a charge because of its age.

Tried connecting with Laptop connected to fitbit and Clear Data option showed up. I could reset the time time at least. Still not synching. It is not HR as does not have Heart Rate but can be used without the app. Updating incase if some one comes across. My wall charger I used was for iPad so may not be compatible.
Thanks.

@mstrack , Thank you for your reply! The time might not been correct, as you mentioned that you could use the tracker without the Fitbit App .
All Fitbit devices need to sync with the Fitbit app at least 1-2 times a day. This also helps to keep the correct time displayed on the tracker.
If you haven't done so yet, please have a look at this: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
