Unable to setup new Inspire

I have a new Inspire replacing my not very old Fitbit which suddenly stopped charging.

I have downloaded the app and followed all instructions. Phone remains resolutely on but no connecting. App has all my info and sent email etc.

4 times I have uninstalled and started again. No joy.

I have Googled and tried all suggestions such as taking off silicon cover. I have checked bluetooth and turned it off and on. I have held Fitbit down for 5 seconds. 

Fitbit is fully charged.

I have tried in several places, from wall connectors to my Mac. No joy

I have turned phone off and on.

I have enable all permissions on my phone.

I have enabled only a few permissions on my phone.

I have begin tearing my hair out...

Any thoughts, please?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before to posting over here. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
