My original Inspire HR was having some issues retaining charge, so I messaged support and received an amazing response and a form for a replace fitbit. Great!
The replacement fitbit came in yesterday but I've only plugged it in this morning. After hours of charging, the green lights turn on and if I hold the button to reset it, the smiley face will appear on the display, but there has been nothing else. Tried syncing it to my phone by adding a new fitbit and when it gets to the "Code will appear on the screen," no such code appears. Nothing does.
My other fitbit was completely battery dead at this point, so it could not have been interfering. At no point, even after getting the restart smiley, does my fitbit vibrate.
To sum: it is charging because at first the green light didn't work at all, but now it is flashing rapidly, and the display does technically work as the smiley face shows up when I hold the buttn for 12+ seconds to reset it, bu no actual info (codes, clock) shows up no matter how much I prod it.
I do not remember any of this being an issue with my original fitbit set up

Hi @ParticleDamage, welcome to the Community Forums!
First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
I'll be around if you need anything else, please keep me posted.

I think I already responded to this but it doesn't seem to be showing--but I have tried everything in those two posts and my display still doesn't work unless showing the restart smiley, my fitbit does not vibrate, but it does pair with my phone up to the required "please input four digits on fitbit display" required to fully sync with the app. My other fitbit can sync with the app just fine, so it seems to be the replacement fitbit that was sent to be due to my originals very poor battery life.
Thank you @RicardoFitbit for your prompt help but the display/vibrate function seem to be completely dead. Maybe it got damaged in transit, as the pebble was delivered in a barely padded envelop.

I’m having the same problem. None of the suggested troubleshooting works.
