Used fit bit

My husband was awarded this fit bit through work. Because he can't wear it he gave it to me. As I was looking at past things such as exercise,  sleep,  etc. I noticed things were recorded from last fall. There was someone else's exercise program on there and results and maps to where he rode his bike etc. So not only was this used now the screen won't turn on. I see a lot of people have the same problem. I guess when you expect something new and you get it used it is disheartening.

@Mzz65401 did you create your own account, or using your husband's account? How long ago was this fitbit transaction?

I only ask because your account was created last. September

Can your husband report the problem to his workplace?  Since they were the ones who made the original purchase (in order to award the device), they would have to be the one to file a complaint or more likely, return the device to the seller. Unless, of course, they knew it was a used device. In the meantime, you can try this:

  • Open the Fitbit app on your phone. Tap Account > Inspire 2 >Remove This Inspire 2.
  • Close the Fitbit app completely. Power your phone off. Wait 10 seconds then turn the phone back on. Open the Fitbit app and tap Account > Set Up a Device.

 This may help.
