So I just was on the Fitbit app and clicked “setup a new device” and on this list was a cool Charge 3 looking device called the Fitbit Inspire and one called the Fitbit Inspire HR. I googled and can find nothing about it. There’s a picture of it too. It looks new based on the wristband buckle which appears similar to the Charge 3 (round metal instead of flat). If this is a soon to be released watch it looks awesome. The side profile is like a thin half oval. So what is this? Was it mistakenly listed on the app? Is it in development? Going to be announced soon? Any info?

Hi Matt,
I got an Inspire HR from my health plan and I can't get it to sync up with my IPhone 5S. I have searched and researched, followed the help items to the letter and still no syncing. I don't understand the problem. Also, when I look under "What device are you trying to set-up" my Inspire HR is not listed in the Fitbit products. I could use some help here before I get to frustrated! Please!!

I just received a Fitbit Inspire HR through my insurance company, just for getting a physical! Yay! Do any current style bands fit this style?

No, I don't believe so as it's not released to the public yet. There was a
site selling the various band colors (white, black, lavender, red) and the
clip (if you have a regular/non hr) but I can't remember what it was now.
@MattFitbit Thank you so much, that makes sense. I just found it odd, as I've used multiple Fitbit Trackers over the years and have to disconnect/reconnect when I want to add a new one, as for some reason, my phone won't allow more than one at a time, unless I never want it to sync. So, whenever I want to use one of the others I delete the previous one.
Which is what confused me as I've had detailed info (REM) with the Flex 1 before and had the regular/basic sleep with the Charge HR before.. I actually did a list of the dates on the Reddit page. But that does make sense that it would need HR to figure it out.
----
Another question, how do you set up an alarm/get it to vibrate (the Inspire). Somebody was nice enough to gift me one, and it works perfect other than the alarm doesn't go off in the morning. Move notifications, etc works, it's set up correctly to go off. It even DID go off the first night I used it, then it stopped. I actually tested this theory while awake (to make sure I just didn't feel it going off) and the time came and went without a vibration/alarm going off... but then it went off a few minutes later as a reminder to move, so I know it works. Please help. Thanks!

@ValerieAnne Great to hear from you!
You can set alarms on Inspire by navigating to the 'silent alarms' tab found in the Inspire device settings within Fitbit App. Once you've added an alarm, be sure to select which days you would like the alarm to repeat. Then sync your tracker and you should be good to go.
You can find more information about setting alarms in this article.
Hopefully, this gets you back on track! Let me know how it goes.

I have alarms set for the device, it's just not going off (it's showing them set, and turned on, within both the phone app and on the settings/alarm menu on the device itself).

What features does the Charge 3 have that the Inspire HR does not?

The Inspire does not count floors.

I own an Inspire HR and I agree with your posting however I will add that the Inspire and Inspire HR are not offered to the public and so far it appears there is no intention to do so. Additionally, I recently contacted Fitbit regarding obtaining accessories such as wristband replacements and was told to contact my employers health plan coordinator. Basically, Fitbit does not support the Inspire or Inspire HR. If I had known that I would have purchased the Charger 3 instead of the Inspire HR. I like the Inspire HR however since Fitbit doesn't support their own product I would not recommend anyone purchasing it through their employer or health plan. Very disappointing.

I agree, this is very disappointing. I too love the Inspire HR but if I knew I wouldn't be able to get new bands or chargers I wouldn't have gotten it.

Hello,
Yes, I had trouble in the beginning. My health plan did send me the HR Inspire however it was very difficult to find instructions for set-up because it is only for health plans. I eventually got it to sync and that has made a world of difference. I love mine!

@Scuba1011 Welcome to the forums! Thanks for taking the time to contact our support team. We are happy to provide assistance for any issues that may come up but you are correct that currently additional accessories can only be obtained through your wellness program.
@tfeig @ShastaBailes Thanks for posting! As mentioned above, currently the available accessories are determined by your wellness program. I recommend reaching out to your program administrator for more information.
@SuperSenior Great to see that you were able to get your Inspire set up and syncing! If you run into any syncing issues again, I recommend performing the steps detailed in this article.

The inspire is on our health plan also. Is this the replacement for the One? I really hated when you guys quit selling the One. 😞 Where do I get a clip for the inspire? I can’t find a thing anywhere about it. Thanks!

@ValerieAnne I assume (and could be wrong!) that the basic Inspire will track sleep patterns, like the flex and all other trackers with no heart rate monitor (restless, awake etc). To get the full sleep stages (light, REM, deep) you need a heart rate monitor, so onlybthe Inspire with the HR monitor can givebyou sleep stages.

Ordered my Inspire this week through Vitality (company health and wellness program). My Alta is 2.5 years old and I was looking for a new device. $69.95 on the Vitality website and even better I have rewards "bucks" that I can use so it was free.
Can't wait to receive the device.
Hopefully Amazon will be selling replacement bands as time goes by.
