White line while charging

Hello!

just got this Fitbit today and hooked it up onto the charger like the instructions told me in the app and it just shows a black screen with a white line across it. The app told me to plug the Fitbit into the charger and then continue with set up. I did this but when I’m trying to continue with the set up the app tells me that the battery is too low and I need to plug it in to charge before continuing. My Fitbit is plugged in to charge it says it’s at 52%. What is going on? Why can’t I set up my Fitbit?

@Mollytempo Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

I appreciate the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried. I would like you to try the tips mentioned in this article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Regarding your Inspire HR showing a white line across, please restart it. Once your tracker has been charged, follow this procedure to set up your Inspire HR

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

All good in that end.
new question!

when I log my exercise in my Fitbit mobile app, which sometimes uses the GPS tracking… My steps do not record in my Virgin Pulse app for work. Is this related? If I log my exercise, do my steps not show up for the day and give me the points in virgin pulse?
