My Inspire 2 is 6 months old and has started showing zone minutes while I’m sleeping.  I didn’t wear it last night and when I put it on this morning there were over 300 zone minutes showing.  What do I need to do to stop this from happening?

Heavens, @Mlr0316 , that’s a lot of zone minutes!  You mention that you weren’t wearing your Fitbit at the time - could it have been placed near a vibration source, such as a fan, laundry machines, or even a desktop computer?  Vibrations in the environment can cause your Fitbit to interpret this as steps.

As a precaution, I would also suggest in the first instance giving your Inspire 2 a restart.  Instructions are here .  A restart is usually the first troubleshooting procedure whenever your Fitbit is not behaving as expected.  You will not lose any data by doing a restart.  It will simply shut down any background activities that might be causing unusual behaviour.

For best results when not wearing your Fitbit it is best to leave it somewhere where it is unlikely to be disturbed by movements or vibrations in the immediate environment.  You might also find it helpful to turn off the HR function when it is not being worn.  This will also help to preserve the battery.

I hope this helps.  Welcome to the forums!

Thank you so much for your response.   Actually it was on my bedside table beside my fan!!!  I wore it last night and it didn’t register any zone minutes.  😀  I didn’t realize it was so sensitive!
