hello all I'm new to this whole fitbit idea and a new owner of a Inspire HR. I had it linked to my fitnesspal and phone and all was working well until I tried to look at things on my desktop, and then all went south, now nothing is syncing or counting properly. I think i need to change my activity level to sedimentary because I'm getting numbers like 1600 cal for 5400 steps does this seem accurate.

Hi @rmplatt,
Your calorie count is functioning as it should be. Your Fitbit is estimating your Basal Metabolic Rate. You can read more about it here.

No it does not mean you need to eat a lot more
When Losing weight I ignore the BMR Calories and just stick with what I know is best to eat.
