Just got my inspire 2 yesterday. Turned off double tap because it didn’t seem to be working, but pretty soon a regular tap stopped working as well. I can only turn on the screen by pressing both sides, unless the screen was on in the last 5 seconds - THEN i can tap it awake. if I wait 10 seconds, it won’t respond. the raise to wake is also only functional about half the time, and most times it’s when i’m just moving my arm any direction. I usually have to swing my arm 3-4 times to get it to wake up. Is this normal, or do I need to contact support? This is my first fitbit. I am also having some trouble double tapping the water lock to activate it, though most everything else will respond correctly once I am able to turn the screen on with the 2 side buttons.

Hi, @Etaggart for the tap to wake screen I find you must tap in the middle of the screen in order for it to work. Also, as you have noted, if the screen has been asleep for a while, it requires a double tap (In the middle of the screen) to wake - so it might be an idea to turn that back on. As you say, you can also wake it up by giving the “buttons” a squeeze.
Once the screen is awake, the next navigations must be done by swipe (up or down) and not by tapping. Then when you get to what you are scrolling for, another (single) tap to select.
The lift your arm to wake does take some practice when you first are getting used to it. It really takes just a little lift and a quick flick of the wrist and then it works pretty well 100%. I don’t even really need to do the lift these days, just the flick, but I have been using Fitbits for quite a while! I am sure you will get the hang of it.
I hope this helps. Welcome to the forums!

Nope, doesn't work. My Inspire 2 is deader than an effing door nail.
