@jimwilkins Absolutely! You don't even need to take the band off if you are using it this way. Just be sure to use the correct setting between the On Wrist or On Clip setting in the Quick Settings of your Inspire.

Yes it will not be as accurate as on the wrist and the HR will be totally off

@jimwilkins I notice that you tagged your post with Inspire, not Inspire HR. The Inspire manual recommends wearing it like this:
That said, I know a lot of users got good step counts wearing their Fitbit One in a pocket, to be a little more discreet. Try it and see if you are satisfied with the results -- make sure you set the Inspire to the On Clip setting. Remember that you have it in your pocket, because a lot of Ones went through the wash.

Thanks for your reply. I have been treadmilling while holding on to the side bars since I have balance issues. Glad to hear that a pocket will work.

@jimwilkins Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to get to the Quick Settings. You might need to swipe up a little to get to the On Wrist/On Clip setting.
