2nd Versa on account

Good Morning,

I bought a Versa for 9 year old for Christmas this year...I created him a child account on mine but it is only letting me set up an Ace. Is there a way to set up the versa or will I need to create him his own account and download the app to his phone? He has his own cell phone too so it can be done. I was just wondering if I can do it under mine instead.

Sorry, child account only works for Ace.

If you don't want the dashboard available on child's phone, could create 2nd account on your phone, but then have to keep logging in and out of accounts to switch.

Thank you! I will just create one on his phone so that way he can keep track of himself.

There is a minimum age for having own account, maybe 13, with Fitbit just following legal regulations.  So you will not be able to set up an account for someone using the age 9.

So do I just create a second account with my name?

Each account needs its own account/email.  When setting up account, I think one of the required fields is birthdate.  I leave it up to you what to enter for the user's birthdate.  If you enter a date making user too young, it will not be accepted - don't know exactly where/how error is informed.
