You cannot add apps to your home screen/clock face. The apps all are in scrolling right (swiping left) from the home clock face.
I wonder if you have read this help section:
How do I install and manage apps on my Fitbit watch?
If so, and still not able to add, it would help to know what steps of the instructions you have followed and where you had trouble.
Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
