Im hoping someone could advise me.

Im new to fit bit. I work for a supermarket picking the shopping for internet orders. To do this i have to use both hands to push a trolley around. Im wondering what would be the best way to set up my fit bit to measure my steps and distance whilst I was at work. Yesterday  i had it set on the walk exercise program and gps on but after 3hours it was telling me i had only gone 0.600ml and just over 1000 steps. Today with great difficulty i tried pushing my trolley one handed and I had done just under 3 miles and over 7000 steps. Can anyone give me any tips on how i set my fit bit up to accurately count my steps etc whilst having to use both hands to do my job.

Thank you

Hi @Greta236 - As a shopper who occasionally takes advantage of the service you describe, I thank you! But when I do the shopping myself, I find the same situation as you ... steps not counted when pushing a cart. There are a couple ways to resolve this. I normally remove my Versa and slip it into a side pocket or place it in a small, cross body purse. There are also ankle straps and band extenders (to allow you to strap the versa around an ankle) available from third party sellers. Please keep in mind that these methods will skew your heart rate. But if steps are your main concern, this should help.

Thank you Carol-B

I had not thought about wearing it around my ankle. I will have to give it a try as long as it does not mess up my heart rate to much as im also counting calories
