Airpods and Fitbit

I have a Fitbit Versa 2 and when I connect my Airpods to it something happens. After I connect them I go to the music app and play music. It's really loud so I turn it down. After like 10-20 second of the volume being low it blasts it in my ear without me doing anything. Once in awhile I get lucky and the volume works. If someone could help me that would be amazing.

@Cottonball It is known fact. Airpods are not compatible with Fitbits. You cannot adjust the volume. I believe it pretty much gets stuck at the level it was when the pods were paired first time. You can forget pairing, lower the volume and try re-pairing the pods. Nevertheless, I would simply get different earbuds. Sorry.

@Cottonball  I think I have a solution for this, I have been having the same problem and looks like many others have too, my airpod pros were stuck at the max volume Everytime I connected to my versa 2, it seems whatever was the volume you last had the airpods at when you first pair it with your versa 2 is the volume it will get stuck at when you pair it to your versa 2.so what you need to do is unpair your airpods from both your phone and your versa 2 and carry out a factory reset on them (place airpods into the case and close it for 20secs,open and press reset button on back for about 15 seconds till amber light flashes).pair the airpods to your phone and they will not play music at preset factory settings volume (about mid volume) adjust the volume to suit your needs-besr in mind out running you might want it up louder a bit). Now pair the airpods to your versa 2 and your music should play at that volume from now on. It's not a complete fix as you still can't actually control the volume from the versa 2 but at least you will be able to use it with the airpods at a preselected volume.hope this works for you.good luck
