Alexa doesn't understand me!

Alexa on my Versa 2 doesn't seem to understand anything. It's hearing me ok, but doesn't seem to have any intelligence(!). Most instructions give a response of 'Sorry I didn't understand'.

 

If I say "Set a timer for 30 minutes", I get "Sorry I didnt find any recipes matching your search for timer for 30 minutes...", so it's hearing the words right but not processing them. Any ideas?

 

When I first got the fitbit a couple of months ago it worked fine, this is a recent development. I have a MotoG8+ android phone with the Fitbit app connected.
